Winkface, drink what you like.
Oh, I most certainly will.
Like I said before, I enjoy a lot of different wines. I like reds and I like whites. If anybody wants to recommend something else, I'll most certainly try it. I just don't understand why rude comments have to be thrown around because I asked a question.
I like your wine segments by the way. Adding what restaurants they are served in is a nice touch.

didn't realize that thinking Chard is at the bottom of the wine chain was rude

Thanks, Wink. Am beginning to come to the realization life is too short to drink the same wine more than twice, so always trying new things.
Give white burgundy a try. Just to see the difference in style from the same grape. Chablis a good entrance, also anything with name Faiveley, Drouhin, or Jadot on label. All three very good wine sellers from Burgundy (both red and white).

Two Buck Chuck works for me.

To answer your ORIGINAL question, I'll add my vote for Frank Family. Gonna be drinking some tonight at Flemings.

Well if this makes you feel any better Wink, my favorite white is a Vodka.
Thats all I got!

Thanks! I changed the title to cover all types of whites. I really want to try more.

Does this now include Zinfadels? Women like that crap too, no?

I, personally, am not a fan of Zinfadels. I remember reading a while back of some new one that a lot of people like, even your hard core wine snob. Yes, women tend to love Zins. I find that it's women who are afraid to try new things and they tend to like sweeter wines.

While I don't see Chardonnay as "bud light", it's not my favorite so I rarely buy it. Some of them are really heavy, and that's not what I'm usualy looking for in a white wine. I'm a Fume Blanc, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc kind of girl.

Rose for the win, Tavel for the Kate Middleton. Not white, not red, but perfect for the long summer ahead.

Rombauer makes the best Charonnay I have ever had.
I'm a red drinker mostly, but this is the only white I would drink regularly.

La Crema is pretty up there.
I'd also recommend the Elk Cove Pinot Gris, great bottle.
Also, the Morgan chardonnay is a great bottle at a reasonable price as well.
IMHO FWIW, riesling is the bottom of the white wine list.

Pipsair has it right here. Martin's can walk you through some good drinking for under $25. I prefer these white burgundies for food pairing. The Rombauers of the world, and the great Newtons for that matter, are better at independent consumption for my taste.
Summer brings me to favor the Sauvignon Blancs and Roses with grilled fish and vegetables.
