Nothing else. Someone said 16 ounces. Someone said 12 ounces. What say you?

I tap out on a large pho sometimes. But like boiled crawfish I'll be hungry again an hour later.

However much I feel like.

A bowl. A bowl of soup. If it's tomato soup it gets a grilled cheese sandwich cut in half for dipping.

I like to have enough for 4 others.
I'd say a gallon.

If that's all I'm eating, at least 20 ounces.

If you're serving nothing else at all, in general, 12-16 oz. sort of depends on the soup. I serve at least 12 oz of gumbo, but it also has rice in addition. There's usually a salad and French bread or cornbread for guests. If no guests, bread and gumbo. Also, if it's a rich cream soup, I wouldn't go over 12. Sort of depends on the soup.

If it's all I'm eating for the meal and I'm really hungry, then I will have 2-3 bowls of gumbo with crackers
When I go out for lunch, I usually do a half sandwich and a cup
