I picked up 6 dozen #2's for 60.00 this weekend but it was directly off of a boat. All females and full as could be.

This was in Lafitte.

You think people want to eat crabs from questionable waters?

Uhh, no.

No one is fishing Pontchartrain that I am aware of.

If people are selling crabs they aren't from questionable waters.

I talked to a guy out at the Bonnabel Boat Launch on Lake Pontchartrain a few weeks back and he works for a seafood distributor and he said NOTHING is coming out of that lake right now with the spillway open.

I figured he should know since he's in the business of buying and selling seafood.

SmokedBrisket isn’t saying they are, in fact, he’s sayin no they aren’t.

I wasn't contradicting him, I was agreeing, and backing it up with a first hand take from a guy in the seafood business who confirmed it.
