Why does it take an hour to get your food, while McD can get your sorted in 30 seconds or less? Chik-fil-A is killing it also, so don't say "food quality."

Maybe it’s not mass produced and all pre fabricated like the national chain(s). And I love McDonald’s too but Whataburger is more authentic

They seem to actually cook to order which makes it take forever. There is no reason they can’t just have some patties on the grill since they basically sell one size.

I never experience any kind of abnormal wait at whataburger. The only thing that takes time is the line.
Id rather my food not be ready instantly. Chikfila also has the luxury of making your food while youre number 15 in line.
Tbh, all 3 of those places are ran well and I have no problems going to them. McDonalds has gotten shite on plenty in the past but they have really stepped their game up in the last 10 years or so.

I've only been to Whataburger a few times and have not noticed a wait. Food was hot and didn't appear to have been sitting. Maybe you went to one that isn't run well.

What is “prefabricated”?? How would whataburger not be mass produced??
I agree Whataburger is better. I don’t understand the thought that it isn’t mass produced and not prefabricated.
Also, I’ve never experienced a long wait either.

McDonald’s is a factory. Same size tomatoes. Predigested meat. Precooked onions if not dehydrated. I grew up in 19cent McDonald’s hamburgers and still love them. But their business model is based on uniformity and mass production.

That is correct. Whataburger is somewhere between Burger Ming and Dairy Queen. Tastes more like homemade.

The whataburger line on Burbank from 10pm to 3 or 4am Thursday to Saturday is ridiculous. I don't even try
