What would you pay for a prime brisket, cooked and shipped to your house?

Full brisket goes for $195.00 for 6 lbs or $32.50 per lb.
Half brisket goes for $95.00 for 3 lbs. or $31.66 per lb. (which is odd as usually the more you buy, the less expensive it becomes per lb.)

To their defense, they do have a banner message indicating their prices have gone up in this Covid-19 shortage. And they're brisket is fantastic.

But by comparison,

Salt Lick

3.5 lbs. to 4.5 lbs. of brisket sells for $89.95 or $25.70 per lb. (at 3.5 lbs.), for non-prime.

At Black's BBQ:

4.5 lbs. of brisket sells for $74.99 or $16.66 per lb., for non-prime.

At Micklethwait Craft Meats, 5 to 7 lbs. of brisket sells for $209.00 or $41.80 per lb. (at 5 lbs.), for non-prime.

Granted, the least expensive way is to buy your own brisket and smoke it yourself, however, I am astounded at these prices for online ordering. Surely, they're buying from their same supplier for in-store purchases and I am curious if they are reducing portion size or charging more? At some point, they may outprice their customers.

Edited to add ... pork ribs at Micklethwait aren't any better at a price point.

2 racks of ribs, $169.00, approximately 8 lbs. or $21.12 per lb.

If I’m eating brisket I want to also smell like a campfire.

Someone needs to notify Micklethwait and Hutchin's BBQ.

I mean prime at costco/sams is already 6/lb, I imagine you lose 1/3 via fat trimming. Another pound through moisture loss?

So you are paying for cooked and post-production. They're only up a few dollars/lb
