This raises a question: there are great beers made in Australia - why aren't they available in the US?

Belgium - Westmalle Tripel
Costa Rica - Imperial (hard to find but you can get it if you look hard enough)
England - Fullers ESB or Shepherd Neame Bishop's Finger
France - just give up and drink wine
Germany - Paulaner Oktoberfest
Mexico - Modelo Negra or Dos Equis Amber and if you can't find those, literally anything other than Corona.
Poland - Zywiec Porter

Russia - Old Rasputin

That's an English style made in the US. Go with Baltika 6.

Who's brewing that? I know most Bass and Newcastle you see are now brewed here.

Samuel Smith beers are very much brewed in Yorkshire, England.

I thought so. I even poked around the web a bit to see if something had changed with regard to that of which I wasn't aware. It seems they all still are, from what I'm seeing.

Do you have a Total Wine near you? I've seen it there. (They also have Don Centenario rum!) Frankly I've never tried to buy Imperial here in the States because I get so much of it when I'm in Costa Rica. I get a little burned out on it when I'm down there.

Negative, mate. Go to World Market and get a six pack of Cooper’s. I’ve been all over the east and south of Australia and not once did I ever see a can of Foster’s.

Pisses me off. VB, Little Creatures, and Feral Hop Hog are incredible. I’d be happy with the “BMC” of Australia: Toohey’s, Cooper’s, and XXXX (<——That’s how Queenslanders spell beer )
