IPO would be better if they didn't douse their dishes with salt. Sodium overload when you eat there. Almost unbearable.

They're opening one soon next to George's by the overpass.

Used to go to the Grape in Perkins Rowe for this. I know they had a name change to Bin 77, but I think they still have it. Nice cheese, prociutto, salumi etc. and a decent wine selection.

Might want to check them out.

I'm not sure

I went to some festival at the Rural Life Museum off of Essen back when I was in college but don't remember what it was. Might have been a Scottish festival. I recall there was beer. That was about 9 years ago though.

Blend and Churchill's have decent ones.

Although it is not a dinner place, Randazzo's Italian Meat Market out in Denham Springs has an excellent meat and cheese tray. They also stuff their own peppers. They are open till 8 and serve beer and wine now. All of the food is excellent. All of their meats are imported from Italy. They also make all their own pasta fresh daily.

looks more like a lunch place but thanks for the rec. maybe I'll check it out before the festival. may have to go to Denham to meet a fellow TD'er anyway.

The wine bar Blend has some good charcuterie as well as some other small plates.

It's pretty tasty.

I've 86'ed the charcuterie idea. I don't want a mediocre salumi plate with some cubed cheddar, brown mustard and pepperoni slices.

gonna try Beausoleil if I can get a reservation.

what a cringe worthy name
