Depends on what the pasta's served with but my favorite pasta overall is spaghetti and my favorite dish is spaghetti con sarde.

This is a fairly recent phenomenon, but a lot of Louisiana Italians seem to like it.

Yeah, angel hair is for olive oil/caper type sauces. Weird with red sauce.
