Sat behind him in an adjoining booth at Mondo one night. Dude rocked the booth thru the whole meal

Don’t really care for his restaurant. Thought Toups South was better, aside from the service & ambience issues.

I do have his cook book though. Enjoy it

That charcuterie board at his place near City Park is big enough to feed an army. He's good at working the room, boisterous, always glib and happy.

Never ate at his place but watched his chicken/sausage jambalaya video on YouTube. His definition of chicken in the jambalaya was him dropping a leg quarter on a bowl of sausage rice.

Nah, I'm good. Go be cool and edgy (oh yeah...and "innovative") somewhere else.
