To answer the question, unless something like nutria or some other rodent is "common" there isn't anything.

For things like raw oysters and sushi, the "why" is not even interesting.

For other things, the "why" might be interesting.

My house was never really a breakfast food house. I'll eat eggs, bacon, sausage and toast or whatever, but I usually wake up and just eat regular lunch food as my first meal of the day.

And I don't like hot drinks.
