Little late tonight, but I stuffed a pork loin with some sausage and threw in in the cast iron for some rice and gravy. Smothered down some cabbage and whipped up some corn on the side. I'm about to throw down on some strawberry ice cream.

What’d you get?

I always liked the crawfish enchiladas and fried cheese logs.

Our waiter was hammered old black dude. Which isnt necessarily a bad thing to me, but he got pretty annoying. Kept asking my kids about Gucci Mane, whoever that is. Fried cheese was as good as always but about half the portion it used to be. Oyster Rock was crap. The salads were a joke. Consisted of about 3 pieces of wilted lettuce. The wife’s cannelloni and daughter lasagna were good enough. No real complaints there. Jr. got the meatball poboy and the bread was burned. The seafood fettuccine is what I’ve always gotten there. I dish I’ve tried to recreate many times at home I like it so much. It and the fried cheese were the reason we went in the first place. It wasn’t even close to the same. No sauce. No crab meat. No oysters. Just a bunch of tiny little shrimp pilled on some noodles. I gave up on it, polished off the daughter’s lasagna and asked for the check. Drunk brotha stumbles up with a $160.00 pre-tip bill. For some crap food, 2 glasses of wine and 2 Dr. Peppers. SMH Freddie Casio

Ouch. That’s tough. We only go around once a year, but the visits have been better than that.

Good stuff Otis. Give Pok Pok a stop in if you’re ever in Portland.
