Mexican steak
Marinated a strip steak in Allegro Brisket and fajita. Searing some onions and poblano, going to finish with Monterey Jack and peppers under the broiler. Avocado and sour cream

Remainder of spaghetti sauce from yesterday with new noodles.
Not sure if that is leftover spaghetti or not. As my son says, it is what it is.

MD's beef bourguignon pictofest the other day made me hungry.
I have Julia Child's beef bourguignon in the oven right now. The house smells amazing.
I got a pint of some Nielsen-Massey Madagascar bourbon vanilla extract today, so after I come out of the beef and potato coma, I'm going to beat some cream into submission and freeze up a batch of vanilla ice cream with my new precious.

I worked all day Thursday with a local specialty pharmacy to successfully apply for a grant to cover my chemo expenses and be able to submit them to my insurance to count against my deductible. FedEx delivered my chemo about 5pm today.
So dinner tonight consisted of
appetizers: zofran, phenergan, tramadol and CBD oil
entree: temodar
dessert: keppra

I hate seeing these posts, cj.
If you don’t mind me asking, what is your prognosis? One of my neighbors was diagnosed with Stage 4 squamous cell in her lungs and nodes yesterday. I hate cancer with a passion.

Like a boss! Glad you found a way to continue to kick cancers arse in spite of the criminals that work for your medical insurance company.

what is your prognosis?
I live every day like it is both my last and that I need to be prepared to live a very long life.

Friday tradition: frozen pizza. I bake on Fridays for my side hustle, so it’s sort of a joke meal that I stick into the already hot oven & I can eat standing up while doing 12 other things. Also, halved cherry tomatoes tossed w/balsamic & homemade croutons, and a St. Peter cream stout.

Am I to understand that you can do your chemo treatment at home?
All the best.
