Brought dad to Kennebunkport, Maine today for Fathers Day. Enjoyed some fresh caught lobster while sitting out next to the waters they were caught in this morning.

Happy Father's Day, F&DB!

My husband wanted roast, rice and gravy and purple hull peas for his FD meal. It was all fun and games until I burned the gravy. Oops. He decided he would just have the purple hulls over the rice, sans gravy.

I had roast, green beans, cucumbers and heirloom tomato. I should've color coordinated better.

Nice Cork. I do the same thing with the wings and the metal bowl to coat, then put them back on for another 10 minutes or so.

No pics, but I have baked turkey necks and veggies. Just finished some wings and fries for the kids. I’m happy!

Good idea about putting them back on with sauce. Daddy and daughter #1 were far too hungry and couldn’t wait one minute longer. Plus, needed to get burgers on for baby girl. She likes hers with extra ketchup.

It was my first time with this grill. You know what they say....you never forget your first.

Good evening here. I have my family, my sister in law, and father in law here.

3 filet mignons
3 fresh slabs of reds on the half shell that FIL and I caught yesterday
2 hunks of fresh yellow fin tuna
Scalloped potatoes
Hearts of romaine with FILs fresh tomatoes and cukes for a salad
Garlic bread
Several bottles of wine
Cold beer

I’m leaving for the beach in the morning with my bunch. Life is good. Happy Father’s Day to all father’s on the board this evening.

Next time you’ll have to trim those flats and drums. It’ll make them cook better, more consistently.
