Paul Allen came back home to NELa. today and we went to dinner. I took him to the Johnnys and showed him exactly where in the parking lot he was conceived. I had a Sweep The Kitchen, he ate his usual, a Large sausage. Also dropped by PeePies grave and discussed that little unfortunate incident. All in all, we had a blast!

Jalapeno and cheese sausage medallions, boudin, corn previously on the cobb and some HEB borracho beans. Feeling fancy so I dusted off the Chinet.
The sausage and boudin came from B&W meat company on Shepherd. Both amazing and I'm already planning my next trip.

Went to a local Persian place about a month ago and snagged a 5# box of gyro meat. Broke them down into meal-sized packages and froze them.
So tonight was gyros with homemade tzatziki, red onions, tomatoes, and red curry paste to give them a lil' kick.
