Drove into San Fran today to wander around. Went into China Town to find some food and ended up not finding anything, so we stumbled into a hole in the wall joint - which happened to be all vegan. Super cool place... Very empty, only two other tables present. But the owners got up on the stage and played some Bolivian music while we were waiting for our food....also told stories about the beginning of their restaurant.
We ordered the portobello burger and their other burger which was made of beets/lentils. With roasted potatoes in cashew cream. I preferred the mushroom burger! The food really was good - but the place was a cool vibe ... I recommend.

I think this place may have made all of their cheeses because they do have a vegan cheese sampler plate. I'll be honest, I had to do a double take when I took bite because I thought it was real cheese at first. People don't realize how tough it is to be a vegan
