Utilized a christmas gift certificate and got a bunch of Slaydens Bbq to go. Only bad thing is it's not very good bbq.

Braised chicken breasts, rice and gravy with brown mushroom sauce. Currently simmering in the old black iron skillet. Lucy will wake up in about ten minutes and be very happy.

The dogs have been very bad. Last night I thought there was a friggin' burglar in the house at 3 am.
It was one of the dogs having a nightmare and making strange grunting and howling noises.
They will only get leftover french bread today.
No tooger tookies until they learn to behave.

Burgers, Opa's jalapeño and cheese sausage, wings, and Makers.
For those who haven't tried Opa's, you need to. Had some at the camp last weekend for the first time and had 8 packs brought in from Mecca this week. Great stuff.

You punished the puppies for having a nightmare? I hope Lucy finds out and gets on to you for that.
Having something with jumbo lump crabmeat I got today, but I haven't decided what. Might make Glass's favorite au gratin with a little gruyere. Maybe a few fried oysters in a blue cheese vinaigrette salad with it. No...maybe stuffed mushrooms with a wine sauce for the crabmeat with the salad. Got some nice big mushrooms.
