Went with the very casual route tonight. After driving through the Outback parking lot tonight and lightly talking my wife out of that choice, we ended up at Crazy Johnnys.
Stuffed Artichoke- Very good.
Filet for me
Strip for the wife
Of course both plates come with the awesome crazy potatos.
Wife had a cocktail and I had two glasses of Louis Martini Cabernet.
Not a bad evening for $55 pre-tax. The usual Metairie characters were seated around us, but most of it was ok. Major props to the guy who was especially loud with his kids or nephews while teaching them the ways of life. I loved the poem that ended with something about "he cut such a big fart he blew the house apart".
Had to make a trip through the daquirie drive through to make sure it was a perfect night.

Thought we would hear about Martini having a fresh fish fry.
Either:
(a) she never came back from fishing
(b) he is still cleaning fish
(c) he is still unloading all the stuff he bought at Main Street Market
