At a cute little French spot in Knoxville solo.

Caramelized onion martini
Beef tartare
Filet with foie gras and au jus
Bordeaux

lol. Just realized not a vegetable in sight. I love red meat.

“Blondie” made sweet potato & black bean enchiladas, was damned good! Had a couple bourbon Old Fashioneds pre-meal, and a really nice Romeo y Julieta 1875. Perfect meal…

Just getting home. I am going to cook half of a twice-baked potato and some asparagus.

LL, I moved to Knoxville about a year and a half ago and always looking for new places to wat and drink. Are you at Lilou? If so, how is it because I really want to try it. If not, what's the name?

Yes, it was Lilou. It was a beautiful space and really nice. The tartare up there as one of the best I’ve had. Steak was cooked perfectly, but didn’t quite have that something a fantastic steak has. Maybe was missing salt and butter.

Crowd was super rowdy and honestly completely hammered at the bar. I guess because of where it’s located, they get lots of people coming for only drinks. Didn’t necessarily bother me since I was in a corner spot, but I’d have been miserable if I’d have been sat in the middle of that. Some were so drunk they’d force every person who sat in their vicinity to talk to them.
