West Mecca for an estate sale. I purchased a small cast iron skillet - a size I did not have. The wife bought stuff too. I came very close to buying a Presto Salad Shooter. I haven't seen one in years and it was in really good shape.

Wish I had more downvotes for your takeout food. Miserable dik.

I thought about stopping in Rayville as we drove past, but it was hot.
My belief was that I could stop Downtown and honk the horn until a crowd gathered and then ask for him.
Never met Mr. Balls, but I have his name somewhere. He found some corn for me a few years back, but was busy, doing you know what the day we were able to come over to pick it up, so I met a farmer friend of his to pick up our corn.

A lot of folks would probably tell you that you need to aim higher! :)

My paternal grandparents are buried at Rayville in the cemetery there just north of 20. Can’t say that I’ve ever had a reason to stop there other than visiting their graveside or the truck stop right there on the north side of the interstate.
