Insomnia Cookies to open up near LSU
The place offers cookies, brownies, cookie cakes, and other desserts for late night delivery. I can't believe no one has thought of this concert before.
However, this new treat comes at a price. They will be occupying the spot formerly held by Bacio di Roma on State Street. Let us all take a moment of silence for the best little gelato joint this side of the Atlantic.

Have you tried it? How is it? My SO and I often get the craving for chocolate chip cookies after CC's closes at night, and we don't always want to bake a full pan.

I haven't tried it. A co-worker got some cookies and ice cream from them and said it was good...and very $$$.

Interesting. I admit, when I saw the article about this place, I immediately wrote it off as a fail.
But I do have a bias.....

I don't eat cookies/sweets. My muchie trip to CVS consists of chips and dip (several varieties), spaghetti o's, and beef jerky.

So you make a full batch and spoon the dough out onto baking pans (press it flat a bit). Stick in the freezer until solid, then pop off the pan & put into a ziploc. Voila, you now have instant gratification warm cookies whenever you'd like. Takes maybe 1-2 minutes longer than non-frozen dough.

My wife is a night shift nurse in Birmingham. Her and her coworkers order from this place like once a week.
I'd say it does pretty well.

AFter a full night of partying in Athens, GA and getting lost, I randomly stumbled upon this place. I was amazed. Though I was extremely drunk, the cookies were delicious. Hot and gooey. I think I had melted chocolate all over my face at 3 AM. I took a brochure and swore I would open one up in Lafayette. But I didn't
