You all got any good ideas for wedding registry items? I think we are registering at Amazon and Crate and Barrel. Im an average cook so ive got some decent gadgets already (thanks to this board). The lady is trying to learn to cook.

Already own: Vitamix, Nespresso, Anova Sous Vide, mandolin, Instant Pot, Global Chefs Knife, Lodge enamaled dutch oven (should i upgrade to LC or Staub?)

Registering for: de Buyer Mineral B pans, Shun and Wustoff chefs knives, All Clad stock pot with strainer, Dexter meat cleaver, and a few cook books

Anything im missing? TIA

My advice: register all your stuff at William Sonoma, pottery barn, and west elm. They’re all owned by the same parent company, so you can return stuff and pool all your credit in one store.

Register for an immersion blender if you don’t have one.

Pics? In kitchen?

Diaper Genie and diapers. Plan ahead.

Boos cutting board, good bar towels, offset serrated knife, good wooden pepper mill, salt box, ricer, food mill, good strainers, ceramic or glass canisters for flour, cornmeal, Sugar etc...thermapen, all clad double burner griddle for pancakes, good waffle iron, good pot holders, wooden rolling pin, large roaster with rack, oval roaster, ceramic pizza stone, crystal water pitcher and glasses, serving platters, cloth napkins, serving bowl, mixing bowls.

I have a lot of LeCreuset and Staub that I have bought myself over the years. I buy one at a time and pick what I like and need. Add to your list a few if you think you will get the hook in an old aunt or family friend that feels obligated to buy one for you instead of pay their mortgage.

I agree with an immersion blender. It is a game-changer for making soups and salsa.

We just got a great new set of steak knives, so if you don't have good ones, that might be a nice choice.

Honestly, I love our electric kettle. It boils water quickly, which is great for our French press and also for making tea. I use it for other stuff, too, if I need boiling water faster than my stove is willing to make it. I never thought of owning one but it's probably my most-used appliance. I also live in New England where it's cold all the time so you may not have as much use for one I love it, though.

Food processor? I use mine a good bit but friends have ones that collect dust.

We did our registry on Amazon. After the wedding they give you a like 20% off coupon to buy anything you didn't get for the wedding.

Get a rice cooker and a toaster oven.

I didn't think we'd use either, but they are now staples in our kitchen.
