I assume it is or should be like Chopped, where the important thing is to have the ingredient really shine...ie a seared wagyu steak with a piece of crab set on top may be the best dish but wouldn't win the crab challenge.

What I almost did just to have a entry for V-day mis GT wanted some of the wagyu from the freezer…she wanted fried oysters on the side doe.
