Virginia Beach recommendations?

there are a few seafood places along chicks beach that are mostly locals... bubbas, dockside.. we used to go there frequently. There is a Cuban place that we liked near the oceanfront, don’t remember name though, it’s a hole in the wall though. Pretty sure everything on the boardwalk is a tourist trap so venture away from there

We lived in Williamsburg but would venture down there frequently... Norfolk has some good places in Ghent neighborhood and downtown. It’s all connected. Surf rider in Hampton isn’t bad but nothing really to miss on the peninsula unless you go to Williamsburg
