Where Revelry is was a Mexican restaurant, Seranos. Went out of business. I always liked the food and was a good spot before football games.

The food is okay at New Orleans location. I really miss Lagers in Metairie which they also owned. Lagers had one of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had.

My wife and I have been trying to come up with some options that may be good there. We really haven't been able to come up with anything.
Any ideas on what would be good in that location since it's already set up for a restaurant?

VC owners should have kept it as a bar with some simple apps and small bite food options. No need for a full blown restaurant, IMO. Maybe they just wanted out and keep resources in NOLA.
The owners are building out a bar in NOLA now across the street from the original VC.

Y’all are exaggerating on this outside dining weather. It’s only horrible at night July - September.

I get it. I was mostly responding to the comment from earlier that mentions only two months a year is good for outdoor dining.
And outdoor fans with misters and heaters are a big help
