Went this past Friday with a party of 6. It was a blast and the food was even better than I remembered.

The roasted duck, the fois gras, the lamb shank, the spicy shrimp and jalapeño corn bread and the dirty martinis made it a great night.

My favorite classic New Orleans restaurants are

Brightsens
Upperline
Vincent’s
Crescent City Steakhouse

I feel like, at any moment, I'm going to see some mafia dealings.

Great place.

CCSH is fricking tremendous. You can tell they salt and oil the hell out of their steaks and broil at like 600000000 degrees.

All of the 9 different potatoe sides are delicious

I will chime in with an addition:

Clancy's

CCS and uptown Vincent's are also two of my favorites.

I haven’t been in a few years, so thanks for your report.

Ate at Brigtsen’s and Vincent’s this past week.

Should be nearing Garlic Fest time at Upperline. Do yourself a flavor and get the garlic ice cream. It's intense.
