375 for 3 minutes per lb for oil. Get the temp up to 400 before you drop it bc the oil will cool down considerably.

My FIL did the Pepsi challenge with air fryer vs oil a few years ago and the oil was way better.

If you have this one

it's about 10 minutes per pound, just check and be sure breast is at 165 before pulling it off. i've used it for years and will never go back to oil.

I respectfully disagree with this. I've fried too many turkeys to count and have never had an issue with them being done well.

My suggestion is get the oil to 350, slowly lower the turkey into the oil and monitor the temperature to keep it at 325 for the cooking duration of 3 1/2 minutes per lb.

I prefer to cook 13 lb. birds and they come out right at 45 minutes into the cooking process. The skin is crispy, the meat cooked thoroughly and it's very juicy. Just be sure to allow it to rest for about 1/2 hour before carving.

Brothers from another mother. Exactly how I’ve done it since the 1970’s, when we lived in The Woodlands I’d fry 7-8 every year for neighbors. Never, ever stray over the 15# mark, 13 1/2 to 14 is ideal.

It’s all good. My FIL did it at 375 and he taught me. I did it at a lower temp for longer time a couple years ago and noticed no difference in anything. I agree that the turkey needs to be 12-15 lbs.

I’ve used one of those a couple of times. It does a great job.
