You know, my wife was telling me about this yesterday. I could totally see him ordering it well done, but the ketchup is just too much. Shouldn't have gone overboard.

It's probably because he's afraid someone would poison his food, or give him a bad steak. Cooking it all the way at least kills the bacteria from the floor that they dropped it on.

It was in his own restaurant. Not only would there be cameras in the kitchen but more than likely secret service as well.

There was actually some news about this during the campaign if I remember correctly. He's pretty old, and every single person I've meet that eats steak well done is old as shite so it makes sense.
