I got the half rack of rib plate with fries and Mac n cheese. It was absolutely delicious, the bark on the ribs was so tasty and the Mac n cheese is some of the best I've ever had. I also loved the BBQ sauce that comes on the side but it's honestly not even really needed.

I will be going back, can't wait to try some of their other meats.

I found it to be decent. Man I hate backing out of that place at lunchtime.

Best BBQ in Baton Rouge. Like all BBQ restaurants it can be hit or miss but when it is good, it is real good.
Boudin egg rolls are the real deal as well..

That title now belongs to Barbosa Barbeque.

Best brisket easily in this town and that's no knock against him. Same for his beef ribs.

Had Barbosa's last weekend. Great stuff. That brisket is top-notch, and the beef ribs are awesome.

Smoking Aces is just OK, imo.

Agreed. Their AYCE ribs with 2 sides and Texas toast for under $15 is an amazing deal.

It's a popup. Last week it was at Overpass. You've gotta follow him on FB/Instagram to see where he'll be.
