Traveling to buy live crawfish

The $2.99 per pound live price in St. Bernard is depressing. It's come down (was closer to $4 just a couple of weeks ago) and I'm sure will fall further.
Y'all have experience driving either south or west, are the prices any better down in the Houma area or closer to Lafayette? How much cheaper are the prices?
Trying to see, for example, if I wanted to boil 100 lbs tomorrow, if it would be better for me to just buy a few minutes from my house or travel a distance to get them.

The crawfish app is saying prices are in and around that area all over.

Yeah, probably not worth it when considering travel time, fuel, wear and tear on the vehicle etc.
Save $.30 a lb. and you're only cutting the price by $30 on 100 lbs. worth.
