Does anyone have any experience with these grills or know if they are legit?

I'm in the market for a new grill and was considering one of these.

TIA

My FIL used to sell them... I have not used one firsthand, but talking to him they are pretty legit.

I have one I bought in 2006(made in USA)and it's still going strong. Rexecutive 125 and I love it! Does a great job with chicken, butts, brisket.
Depending on your investment you might look at Yoder pellet cookers too.

A great grill / smoker for the lazy man. You set the temperature as you would on your oven, and make sure there is enough pellets to fuel it. It controls the temperature for you by feeding the flame through an auger when the temp drops. Could not be any easier. I believe it is all indirect cooking, so may not be great for burgers and steaks (I could be wrong here?)

Kamado Joe, BGE, Primo > Pellet Smokers. More versatile IMHO.

Honestly, a pellet cooker will cook burgers and steaks but not like a charcoal grill will. Burgers come out fantastic if you're not picky about it being rare of med rare with no char. Steaks.... the same thing. You could get a Weber type grill for those but pellet cookers put out some amazing tasting food. They do an awesome job like I said with chicken, ribs, pork butts and brisket. it's all about what you cook the most and your preference. Then again I probably have too many grills and smokers. Can absolutely never go wrong with a kamado cooker. Check Craigslist and save yourself some bucks!

Thanks for all the helpful input...much appreciated!

I'll be keeping my Weber grill regardless, so I can always pull it out if I'm not a fan of how it does burgers and steaks.

If you had a KJ or BGE you would not need multiple grills. The can smoke low and slow or char at over 900 degrees. If you are going to spend that kind of money, I would do a bit more research. Just my 2 cents.

Something good about pellet cookers is they make for a great oven when cooking/baking a lot or when you don't want to heat up the kitchen. Yeah, you could probably do whatever on some other grills but pellet cookers are nice.
I might bake the lasagna I'm doing this evening on the Traeger just to show you.

BTW, they do an awesome job with turkey for holidays.

How'd that lasagna come out?

Edit: which one do you have? I was looking at the Renegade Elite and Junior Elite
