It’s what my grocer(Hy-vee) calls choice reserve…basically in between choice and prime. It was on sale 2.69/lb and was a nice packer. Temp has been right around 225, but my KJ cooks a little hot considering it’s not offset. Hoping to wrap soon, but the bark has taken longer to set than in the past.
Smoked some deer pepper jack sausage with it.
