Superior seafood is good for happy hour & raw oysters. Nothing more, nothing less.

Maybe I'm a little bitter since I live in the neighborhood..I've gone entirely way too often in the past 5 years. Especially this past year- I've worked with individuals from out of state (who were only going to live in NOLA for 1 year!!) and it became their favorite in the city. I'm talking one to two happy hours/dinners a week. I'm sorry, but we live in NOLA, one of the best food cities in the world and superior seafood is not in the top 10. Believe me, I tried. Everywhere I took them was compared to SS.... like hello! Don't you remember that frozen bread pudding you ordered last week!

no one said it was top 10. It's not terrible and as you admitted they do some things well. Nice space and best view of any restaurant on the avenue outside of maybe Mr Johns

Poke for lunch- it's light. Dinner at those other restaurants I listed. If I we're eating out for all three meals, I'd definitely want something more on the lighter side for lunch.
