I do understand that BR is way too full of Chains, but there are several local spots in town that I would put with the best in Nola. I need to show you around the Capital city

BR is clearly a top 5 restaurant city if you know where to go in BR.

Way too many chains to be on any list. But I would put the Chef from Ruffinos against any in Nola.

i will say BR has better Indian cuisine than NOLA.
it also has a filipino restaurant, something NOLA doesn't have

and imo, Gino's is better than any italian in NOLA.
Mexican is a wash.
Besides the obvious creole advantage NOLA trumps in Chinese, Vietnamese, and Spanish.
