I have no idea. I went in there once looking for raw fish and they didn't have any. Going to try a po boy today.

Yep, he has a seafood dock and distribution business in Chalmette (or somewhere down there). He sells a lot of shrimp. He's been around the seafood business for a long time. I know he delivers to Baton Rouge, NOLA, and along the gulf coast.

I've been there once and a got shrimp po-boy. It was pretty good, a little messy, but not short on shrimp. I wanted to try the seafood buffet, but $21 is ridiculous.

I agree that the seating arrangement sucks.

did it look good? if so, $21 is not bad at all, imo.

I was thoroughly impressed with the quick service and great food.

Tommy's

me live next door to this place, no the owners really well. They buy their seafood basically the day before and sometimes the morning of.
The quality has went down since the new chef came along imo. The boys still know how to cook, stuffed flounder , but the rest of the menu has suffered. My mom's boyfriend is in there almost everyday. Must be nice to be retired.

We like the seafood buffet tho agree to it being a little pricey. All the food on the menu is really good; ie fried food and po-boys. Their grilled(blackened)fish is very tasty. The only rip I have on the place is their boiled seafood. I've tried the boiled shrimp, crabs and crawfish but it's all way,way too spicy for my tastes. Will never go there for boiled again. Sammy's will be my boiled crab, shrimp and crawfish place to go.

It's pretty difficult to be too spicy, IMO. Do you normally like spicy foods?

I normally like spicy but this will take the skin off my lips. Others may like it but I don't.
