What variety of heirlooms? Anything special you are doing to get them to set fruit?

A bucket of Cherokee purples and a bucket of red lasoda potatos. The others are better Boy and creoles.

I picked a few that weren't quite ready since I'll be gone for a week. They will ripen a little slower. If I left them on they would have been too ripe when I got back.

And to set the Blooms I just spray the I think it is Bonita Blossom Set.

Nice---I tossed as many as I kept today. Days of rain equals split fruit, rotting on the vine. We need a dry day to heal up those cracks.

Yeah I pitched a few and got these picked as the lightning and rain started. Had 2.5" in an hour and a half just solid rain. Definitely need some sun. Soybeans need a break too.

Pulled up all cucumbers and planted new ones. Lima beans came up and planted more contender bush beans. Planted a few watermelon vines where I had the potatoes. Not sure how they will come out but we'll see.

Squash is barely hanging on. Lot of hot peppers starting to pop. Cherry heirloom tomatoes prolific. The cherokees have another good pick then they'll be done.

My spaghetti squash are the MVP of my garden. My okra zucchini and squash and cucumbers are doing very well also. I'm still waiting on my onions and shallots

Picked these mostly creole today. A few Roma and Cherokee purple. With all the rain it is better to pick them a bit early and let ripen on the bar than let them keep splitting on the vines. They taste good.
