TJ owned Ruth’s, his son owns tio javis, TJ ribs, and several restaurants in Montana

Or at least he used to. He owned ninfas and then rebranded as tio javis. If he sold it I do not know

I did not know that, thanks. For the record I loved ninfas and tio javis for the first few years, I’m anxious to go try now. The Texas combo for lunch was excellent

This is correct. He's at Ruths every night. He makes rounds to all the tables regularly. If you get the chance to meet him, let him know that you enjoy Tio's, he loves talking about all the improvements that he made. He puts a lot energy into his restaurants.

We just got some Saturday and it sucked. Will say my girlfriend's enchiladas came out great but my tacos were cold and the tortillas were not good at all, when the tortillas alone were the selling point just a month or two ago. Something changed very recently for the worse.

But like someone mentioned it could've been an off night and staffing has been wild for restaurants. I'll probably give them another go in a month or two.

We went about 3 weeks ago.. it was terrible. I suspect it will be rebranded in the next year or two, maybe we will try it again at that point.

You too? I was beginning to wonder if it was just us. I have loved that place for years and was very disappointed this last time. Probably won’t be going back anytime soon.

No more dollar taco night,

We have also noticed it slipping. the steak fajita meat i got the other night tasted like straight up marinade and it was just about as expensive as superior.
