If you had something particularly good this weekend, and want to post pics of it and where it's from, we'd all like to hear/see it.
I had some really good smoked elk and cheddar sausage from Colorado, chicken boudin from Bourre, and a bacon wrapped Club cracker. Never heard of that before. It was pretty good.
And we saw these guys. Didn't see anybody eating them.
Maybe they got pulled apart and tossed into a gumbo.

The guy said he nuked the bacon strips a little, then cuts a slice in thirds. Then, wraps those around the cracker and bakes on a low temp in the oven until it looks ready. He just warms them on his grill at the tailgate.
I'd never heard or thought of the bacon wrapped cracker until this weekend. It was worth trying.

Another thing this guy had was a jap stuffed with two types of cheddar and provolone, then dipped in a bisquick batter that had shredded cheddar folded in, then tossed in shake and bake. Then he deep fried it.
It was impressive.

That chicken boudin was pretty good. Tasted like Jambalaya.
