No Copperhead, but Buffalo Bayou and 8th Wonder made the cut.

I get 8th Wonder if you’re throwing in lots of points for Astros them and close to Minute Maid, but Buffalo Bayou? 11 Below?

I know...Thrillist.

Brewery list will look better when Parish and Urban South are on it.

Ehh...Thrillist is likely to put Southern Star and No Label on there instead of actual good breweries.

I'd recommend 8th Wonder and Buffalo Bayou over the sellouts at Karbach.

Thrillist is so bad. They’ll have an article like “10 SECRET bars that no one knows about” and post the top 10 bars that come up from a google search of the area

Agree. Spindletap does really good hazy IPAs. But that’s all you’re getting.

If I had to pick just one Houston brewery to drink at for a year, I’m picking several over Spindletap.

Is this a list that considers not only the beer but the niceness of the tap room?

They still open? Feel like they haven’t brewed a beer in a while.

Saint Arnold is a better overall brewery than Spindletap IMO.

Saint Arnold and Eureka Heights tGOATs rn IMO. Eureka is a product of SA, as are most Houston breweries. Strong coaching tree. Urban South West is going to shake things up.

Is 8th wonder no good? Recently had the vietnamese coffee porter and loved it. Wanted to check the place out on the next pass.

I agree that beer is tasty. Definition of one-hit wonder.

Buffalo Bayou is a nice little brewery, and some of their lesser-known beers are quite good.
