Albertsons, Whole Food, most anywhere lately.
Unless you are a girl, or diet beer/Cosmotini type drinking guy, or someone that doesn't know how to make a marg, you'll think it vastly overrated.
Very good for it's calorie count, but take away that categorization, and it's rating slides hard.

A lil off topic, but where can you buy it in BR?
We picked it up in Scottsdale, so I'm not sure where to get it here, but I think Calandro's has it.

Ahh..I'm a chick..but I like Bethenny overall. So I wanted to try this just to see what the excitement was all about..
I'm sure it's overrated. But I can see the appeal with it being prebottled and easy..

Yeah, look, the drink isn't gonna move you... But, like you said, it's pre-bottled and easy. Win-win.

Not necessarily lite in the loafers, this type guy could be very secure in his manhood and sipping his Cosmotini, but is very metrosexual and sophisticated, and not threatened in the company of male hairdresser types..
Think Richard Gere, Cary Grant, Hugh Grant..
Oh, wait, nevermind.

That shite can't be good for your liver.

Sucralose builds in the liver. Excitotoxins are bad for a body's microflora, alkaline, neurotransmitters, etc..
Check out Dr Blaylock's studies..and that genius/quack Mercola's too.

The Skinny Girl Margarita is putrid. I picked a bottle up at Colandro's for the Ol Lady, a few weekends ago.
She said she didn't like it, and at first I thought she was just being picky, so I tasted it. It tasted like brine with a hint of lime juice and alcohol. If you like your margaritas heavy on the salt, knock yourself out. Otherwise stay away from that garbage. Margaritas are not that time consuming or difficult to make.

Okay.

I understand the appeal to have Skinnygirl Margaritas in a bar or restaurant where a margarita is so often served with a nasty mix. I don't understand why you'd bring it home. What's in the bottle is the exact same as a good, simple marg that is plenty easy to make yourself.
You're talking to a food board though. Of course you make it yourself. The average person who doesn't cook much buys ready-to-drink margarita. They have existed for years so this is a giant leap in that sense. It's a margarita made with natural ingredients that someone doesn't have to make themselves.
It's like spaghetti sauce. No matter how easy we think it is to make a quick sauce from scratch, a person who doesn't have interest/love of cooking uses jarred sauce.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. Like I said, I totally understand why it exists and why so many people buy it. I know that when I was young and stupid I figured that margaritas must be complicated to make since all these mixes or ready made things were in the stores. It wasn't until I took the time to look it up that I found that it wasn't hard at all! Pour this, this and this, you're done! Ok, maybe squeezing some limes takes a little effort but you can even buy lime juice if you want! It's not like there is any cooking involved. My theory is that a lot of people just don't know what goes into a margarita and buy what's on the shelves at the store. I guess one bottle is also better than three or four.
With all that said, I am interested in trying it to see what it tastes like.
I've yet to make a spaghetti sauce from scratch. I'd like to one day but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I don't eat much red sauce so when I do, I usually grab a jar.

Don't get me wrong, I really do like *some* of Bethenny's recipe ideas and how she makes cooking and especially baking healthier (I want to try her Vegan Oatmeal Banana cookies, even though I'm not Vegan. I'm about 90% positive that I have an egg allergy and I like how her baking recipes usually don't call for eggs). But I do feel that Bethenny is too scary thin herself and needs to eat a burger every now and then. Bethenny is 40 now and I don't think she looks good at 115 lbs for 5'6. I think if she were 20 she would look okay with that weight but once women hit their mid 30's, they start to develop really veiny/chicken looking necks if they are super thin--and therefore it makes them look wayyyy older than they actually are. Bethenny would look a lot better if she was 130 IMO. Plus, I think Bethenny is pretty emasculating towards her husband from what I can tell, and she has a lot of personal issues based from her Bravo show.
Other than that, I really like her recipe ideas and books that I've read, and that she uses more natural ingredients than Lisa Lillien does.
