For people who escape from the small town of Alexandria, there are only two things they miss, "Oriental Wok Chinese Restaurant" and "awesome church music atmosphere"

I'm coming in late on this one and certainly have not read all the responses, but in my opinion the "Grapevine" restaurant in Donaldsonville is "TOPS!"

And I've heard nothing but negative reviews about Bayou Bistro in P.A.

Then you missed my positive review of the place. Good seafood buffet, imho.

Best ever? No.

If you have any other Port Allen suggestions, let's hear 'em.

Can't remember if I've mentioned this and I don't feel like going back through and looking.

JR's Place is Simsboro. Good place for a meal. Had the Cajun Crawfish Pasta last night before the game.

Sucks....anyone who has eaten here recently and thinks it is good food should be banned.

Best Stop has the best cracklins. Don's has far and away the best boudin.

No freaking way. Don's is over rated and usually over peppered.

Best stop's boudin is really good. I've had numerous occasions where I've decided to head back home to LC just to stop there and get boudin and cracklins. Tell the parents its to see them.
