Most Excellent BBQ.

Can I ask what you got there? I've been once and was not a huge fan. May have just been a bad day. Brisket and ribs were both real dry. The candied burnt ends for the appetizers were really good though.

They proud. Charge like one of those high-dollar Texas places. I like the sauce. Ambiance is bad in there. The beverage situation is bullshite.

I ordered the Sampler platter? I'm not sure that's the exact name.
It was excellent and not dry. Perhaps they have had an off day or two.

This has been on our list to try for a while, but we always get mixed reviews from everyone who has been. It's either fantastic or not worth the $$. Maybe they just aren't consistent?
Either way, we'll give it a shot at some point. I wish SHV/Bossier had better BBQ options.

It seems like Shreveport/Bossier would have a couple of really good bbq joints. Are there any food trucks doing central Texas style over there?

Go to Jefferson, TX for good BBQ.
