The Local - Denham Springs

Tried this place for dinner this evening.... Really good sandwiches and homemade chips. They cure their own meats. I'd highly reccomend to anyone in he Denham/central area.

It is our goal to provide people with something made completely by us! We will be smoking, curing and cutting all of our own meats. The bread will be locally baked. We intend to use local vendors for our products.....

The only "theme" I'm feeling is that you have a financial interest in this place ..

None at all... A friend of mine recently told me about the place so the wife and I got dinner there tonight. The sandwiches were really good, so we're the chips. I had never heard of the place until a week ago... It's kinda hidden where it's located.

I got the rockin redd and the wife got the dirty D that we split and tried each... We also got an order of the CBgB chips to split.

Been there twice, was not disappointed. Wife loved their version of grilled cheese. Hope they make it, as their location is not the best, and you can't see it in that strip mall / truck stop thingy. Is worth the trip though.

The location does seem to kinda suck but the food was on point.... Especially for Denham

I've seen photos of the food and advertisements online. Went once and the place smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that I left. This was about 2 years ago.

Maybe it wasn't a full 2 years, but its right next door to some "sports bar", right? In the same parking lot as the truck stop. I know I went there because I made a point to go there due to the ads and food photos I saw.
Sorry, cigarette smoke bugs me too much to eat in the presence of it, so I left.

Yea that's the spot. I hate the smell of cigarette smoke, and as of the other day this place didn't smell.
