I love their tuna and raspberry white chocolate cheesecake. Trader Joe's is my number one for weekly groceries, but Fresh Market is easily number two.

Whole foods has pretty decent sushi FWIW. Most everything else in the store is meh.

The amount of people I see in there buying shitty cold/hot case pre-prepared deli items is disturbing. If you go to those places and actually buy ingredients, they aren't half bad... but most people seem to treat it as a freaking cafeteri

Why is there this "disturbing.?" People have jobs and families and sometimes it is just easier to pick up preprepared items like this. Most of this stuff is cooked in house daily so it's not like it is poor quality.

I've tried to like the whole foods in Lafayette, but i just don't. Every time I go, I have to go to a second store, b/c I couldn't find everything I need. Beyond that, the seafood section, which I had high hopes for, is lacking.

The Fresh Market at River Ranch is a much better store... produce, seafood, butcher... everything.

All that being said, Rouse's is my 'go to'.

"Pre" is redundant. It's prepared food.

Stores that sell quality, fresh ingredients and tasty, prepared foods are popular with a whole lot more than hipsters.
