That's what the Cooking channel is for now. Its like when MTV2 first came out to "get back to playing music videos."

I can't watch it anymore and I used to love it. I am so sick of Chopped and the stupid competition shows. Why can't they just go back to basics?

Is top chef still on? If so has it degraded itself into the same kind of absurd challenges that are in Chopped/Cutthroat kitchen?

I miss Molto Mario, Rachel Ray, Good Eats...

I watch Vice's Munchies shows now, Mario Batali has recently started a new show on their network.

Raichlen is the only actual cooking show I watch. He's really good

Hell the best show they had in the last few years was What Would Brian Boitano Make? and that only lasted a season.

Definitely tired of these competition shows with the typical a-hole chef host.

the competition shows were fun for a while. When they were the "occasional" show. Now, the actual cooking shows are occasional.

I used to enjoy watching them cook and explain how to make the meal they were cooking.

Now it's competitions and people touring the world eating.

I remember them saying the comps were a way to get men interested in watching a cooking channel.

I miss the late night Iron Chef replays. Real Iron Chef, not Iron Chef America.
