Covid was a big part of it, they had a really good chef/kn there but moved her into GM type role and the food has suffered in both prep and ingredients. If they put G back in the kitchen and upgraded the food program they could still have something.

I'd rather be one of the "dog people" at Pelican

What is Pelican? For my list.

Pelican to Mars is a pet friendly tiki themed bar on government street near BR High. They have really good cocktails and a solid beer selection. It’s indoor/outdoor so bad weather makes it less comfortable. Also, their food truck and pop-ups are excellent.

How long did you live in LP?

I never lived in LP, but I had a friend who lived in Denham in 2022-2023 when I was going to Le Chien frequently.

I like Pelican a lot, but they either need to hire more bartenders or get better ones. You can wait a long time for a drink over there.
