They don't and usually you mold them to the skewer in more of an elongated footballish shape. Those with a good tzatziki, pita, and rice pilaf praise Allah that shite is good

Not every dish is properly executed. And sometimes flavors just don't work -- maybe it's not offensive enough to be called disgusting, but it's certainly not good. I'd think of that as boring

Screwed up does not equal boring. You're talking about screwed up dishes. Or you're making excuses for past posts.

I think it's a vocabulary deficiency.....substitute trite or hackneyed or run of the mill or pedestrian, all can convey similar sentiments. I'm bored by most iterations of Caesar salad, as the dumbed down mass market Caesar dressings usually lack fresh garlic and anchovies. Would I call such a dish boring in a review? No, I'd point out the specific deficiencies keeping said example from achieving the platonic ideal.
Classics are tasty, but poorly rendered classics are indeed boring to me.

A poorly prepared dish, classic or not, is just bad cooking. I don't equate poor cooking with boring. Maybe it's a vocabulary issue.
