It's just 2 of us and we are not cooking all that. Where is a dinner in town that's reasonably priced and good.

The downtown hotels usually have a pretty good spread.

My FIL was ill one year. The rest of us had dinner at the Crowne Plaza. It was more than adequate with the traditional fare plus a prime rib carving station and seafood gumbo. They even take reservations. Mansur’s is also usually open.

Houmas House has an excellent Thanksgiving dinner. Not exactly cheap, but it's Thanksgiving. And it's excellent.

Ruffino’s is open, accepting reservations and will be offering traditional Thanksgiving meals, in addition to their regular menu.

Why not just order a dinner and eat at home....there are places open but you pay a small fortune to go out an eat...this way you will have food leftover...

You could give Golden Corral a call to find out if they're open.
If they are, sirloins, prime rib, wonderful turkey and all the fixings you can imagine, for under $15. I may just have to go to Golden Corral for lunch today if I can find a way there.

TulaneLSU,
I'm obsessed with your reviews and lists. Someone reviewed the new In-N-Out Burger in Baton Rouge, and folks replied with their favorites, including What-A-Burger, which I personally love. Anyway, I replied in that thread that I was reserving judgment until you reviewed fast food restaurants. Is there any chance you could do that if you have some time?
Thanks so much!

I would also love to get your list of grocery stores. Personally, I feel that Whole Foods is overrated, but would love to see your rankings.
