Nothing says "will you be mine?" like starting off with cheese fries before easing your way into the BBQ chicken and ribs plate.

If you like Longhorn, you might find these restaurants appealing. They are all owned by the Darden group.

Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, LongHorn Steakhouse

Yea cause EVERYONE here knows Im all about those restaurants..

Have you tried the steakhouse in DS? Is it the best steak in the world? No but for 24 dollars you can get a well seasoned Porterhouse which is a good deal. I would prefer the 14 oz USDA prime ribete from little village but feel free to make yourself look more and more like a total JACKASS.

I bet you would prefer Sullivans who also ownes LONESTAR.

I like Texas Roadhouse. For Steak they offer good value and good drinks. Its hard to be really picky about a steak. The only difference between a place like this and a Ruths Chris is the grade of beef used.. Of course you have people go to Sullivans thinking they are getting a top quality steak and they actually are getting the same cut as these places.

Agreed Catman88

I know sometimes I don't feel like spending half my paycheck to eat a great meal at Little Village or Gino's or something, so everynow and then a pitstop @ Texas Roadhouse is fine.

Then again, everyone's a lawyer/doctor who clears 250k a year so they can do 5 star joints regularly

Why would I drive from Baton Rouge to eat at a "steakhouse" in Denham Springs ? Unless I need to pick up a 10 pound bag of Beef Jerky from The Beef Jerky Store, I don't make the drive.

Because this place is actually better than alot of places in BR. CERTAINLY better than Sullivans.

But you really are a complete tool arent you?

Of course you could be like me and live in Eastern BR where its closer than the nearest decent steakhouse.
You certainly spoke about the place like you knew exactly what they offered.. How do you know that this place is not closer to their Capital Grill restaurants than to their Olive Garden? Do you ALSO compare Del Frisco's to Lonestar? Do you have any fricking clue what you are speaking about or do you just normally come off as a complete arse? Do you even know what Del Frisco's is?

I don't frequent any chain restaurants in Baton Rouge or anywhere for that matter. It doesn't make sense to not support the local industry. Especially in this economy.

It's really not that much of a deal.

Regular prices....

Baby Blossom: $3.49
Prime Rib: $15.49
Ribeye: $15.49
TOTAL: $34.47
