They don't need to continue using coupons, that place will do well like any other Brazilian steakhouse. The experience itself will be a big draw, and the high price tag guarantees that it becomes a "status" place to impress others by treating them there (or being seen there).
I give it 18 months, max, in BR.

If you ate there anymore than that you would gain 100 pounds in a calendar year.

Hey I went last night with a table of 4 (including me). The service we had was outstanding. I did notice the little bit extra salt on some of the meats, but otherwise they were amazing.
We had a couple of mixed drinks, bottles of wine, and 4 people eating so our meal without the coupon was well over $300+.
So at about $50 a person (not including drinks) I don't think it's that bad of a deal. But with the coupon it's totally worth it.

+1
I'd have to agree with this.
We went last night and already planning to going back.

I think Catman88 nailed it when he said it wasn't consistent. I had a few things that were really good (particularly the sirloin and beef ribs), and had seconds on them and they weren't good at all (overcooked). Our waiter said everything was prepared medium rare, and it wasn't. If they could improve on their consistency with not overcooking red meats then it would be a really good restaurant, but my first impression is just ok. Definitely worth it with the coupon though. For the money I'd go to a finer steakhouse though.

took a client last night from out of town who had never been to a brazilian steak house ... service was good .. waitress worked her arse off, but the gauchos were slllllllllooooowwww as shite ! constantly brought sausage and chicken by with an occasional flank steak .. filet mignon came by once in 45 minutes and we NEVER saw any lamb .. finally had to ask the waitress where the lamb was and it showed up five minutes later ... i know this is the trick ..serve you small portions slowly so you'll fill up, but come the frick on ... for $42.99 a head i want to be coughing up steak for a few days ...
once again, just average .. nothing special and situations like last night are really the only times i'm going to be going back ... even skipped the salad bar last night to eat more .. i think i might have had 8 items total when it was all said and done ... and that was chicken twice and flank steak twice and lamb once .. never saw the lamb chops ..

Maybe they just dont like you..
I just think its funny because when we were there I only saw chicken once and didnt even see sausage until we were ready to leave. Now they served us a butt load of sirloin and it did take a while to see filet. (I preferred the flank and sirloin more than the filet anyway though) We did ask for the lamb and it came by shorty after. At least you get to right it all off for business.
