Tee Wayne’s in Gonzales , A+ on catering

With Tee Wayne passing earlier this year I was not sure how the restaurant was doing, but had them cater my office Christmas party tonight, I was very impressed, everything was great and all enjoyed. On the menu
Pepper jack boudin balls
Spinach artichoke dip and pita chips
Green salad
Shrimp cocktail
Corn shrimp crab bisque
Smoked brisket
Grilled veggies
Mississippi Mud
Plenty of food leftover , job well done

I stopped by once for lunch and had a bbq combo plate. Was not impressed. And the lunch special with a drink came out to damn near 16.00.

I was really worried about them after T-Wayne’s passing. I was a huge fan of his jambalaya. I’m happy to hear the joint is still turning put good food.

Their BBQ is meh
But otherwise it's a pretty good place. My work always has tee Wayne's cater our employee appreciation event and they do crawfish, burgers, and some side fixins like rice dressing. Their catering is pretty bangin.

OP if you go back get the shrimp burger and douse it in their homemade tartar sauce. Divine. It's a total gut grenade and you'll be useless all afternoon but so worth it.

Great to hear. I haven’t heard much from them since Tee Wayne passed. He was a great AP plant dude.

I saw that this morning, at the time there was a post that was some sort of ad with a link to another website, was the posters first post, it has since been deleted , but evidently the thread stayed bumped, while on topic i did get the shrimp burger that was mentioned in this thread and it was legit
